Ever wondered where your membership dollars go to?

Known to Florida Elks as the Harry-Anna Trust Fund, named after Harry and Anna Miller who donated land and a building to establish the original Florida Elks Hospital for Crippled Children, the trust started in 1991. 

The purpose of this charitable trust was, and continues to be, the collection of donations, the selling of the trust fund certificates, and the acceptance of endowed gifts. The trust fund is restricted, which means that only the income derived from it may be used to support our major projects: the Florida Elks Children’s Therapy Services and Florida Elks Youth Camp programs.

Elks Youth Camp is to mold the current generation of youth into adults that we’d be proud to have as American citizens. The motto is to “inspire, connect, and expand.” Kids are inspired through the quality of the facilities, of the staff, and the programming. A project of the Florida State Elks Association, the beautiful and modern 405 acre complex provides a unique camping experience for 7 weeks during the summer to all Florida kids ages 9 through 13. 

Without electronics, kids build connections between themselves and their peers, their counselors, and nature. Through all of this, the Florida Elks have the opportunity to expand their compassion for others, their own self-confidence, and their ability and desire to make an impact on the world around them.
